With animal painter Joseph Wolf in the Razejungwingert

12.05.2020, 09.00 to 12.00 Joseph Wolf (1820 -1899) from the small May village Mörz was the most important animal painter of his time. He illustrated the works of Darwin, Livingstone and others and worked mainly for the Zoological Society of London. Also animals of our Moselle region he has portrayed impressively and in love with detail. On the day of action for the Lehmen primary school, the Razejunge want to commemorate Joseph Wolf. This year is his 200th birthday. A part of his works will be presented in the vineyard in a natural way. During tours on the attractive vineyard experience path, the current animal world in the vineyard is also presented and can be experienced at close quarters. In addition to the pupils, parents are of course also invited.
