Wineries on the Moselle, Saar and Ruwer have a long tradition. Here, the winemaker only pours his home produced wine at certain times of the year (maximum four months). In a cosy atmosphere in the authentic vineyard, in the quaint cellar or in the well-kept terraced garden, the fine wines taste absolutely wonderful. In addition, there are small, delicious dishes made from local produce, often freshly prepared by the winemaker’s wife. Wineries are therefore in the proper sense not restaurants. The right to serve your own wine was mentioned as early as in the old writings from the era of Charlemagne. Since time immemorial, the age of the pub has been displayed by a bouquet, a broom or a wreath adorned on the winery building. Welcome!
